Great local Deli in Harper Woods. It has been in the neighborhood at least 10 years (as long as I have lived here), and I bet much longer. Great top shelf meat cuts. Do yourself a favor and drop in and meet Joe - you'll be glad you did!
My dad has been coming here since he was a teenager, and I’ve been coming here since I was little. The owner joe always ask about my family. The subs are wayyy better then subway. Great price hands down
If you can find a better sub for cheaper, then go there. You can't because it doesn't exist. That's why God created Joe( the owner not Biden, that was the Devil) because there is no competition for this place when it comes to Subs. You would be better off looking for bigfoot or the lucky charms leprechaun. Also lottery, beer an the usual corner store stuff... Try the sub though. Best in town
Love their subs. Nothing fancy, but it's comfort food when you've been eating them for 25 years. Sometimes the bread is hard. Still great, gives your teeth a workout every once in a while.
Driven by hundreds of times without stopping. Today I stopped and picked up a sub. Great sandwich made to order by a nice guy who's been making sandwiches for 40 years.. Glad I stopped and nice to buy something unique from an old-time store owner as opposed to a big franchised store. I'll b back.

I am a big sub sandwich fan, so when this place popped up on my radar I had to try it. Fundamentally, this store is really a corner market that sells drinks, snacks, lottery tickets and the like. However, they also have a sub sandwich on the menu. I assume you can modify it to your tastes, but I just got mine with the works. Other folks have commented that the owner has long been a staple of the community and he was not shy about telling me this was the best sandwich around. I have to say after having one, it's hard to argue his claim! Excellent sub. The fresh baked bread with sesame seeds really elevates it. The toppings and condiments are in perfect ratio. Very good value for the price as well.
